During war, you lose apart of yourself, you lose others and you can’t get that back. XVI Management started out in this business for their love, happiness and passion for music: never for the clout. It was time for Joe & Chevon to heal & with healing, comes a rebrand, a change to the company name, a new logo, a fresh start, a new beginning and a wedding to prepare for.

It’s 2018 and Joe Gawd & Chevon both quit their jobs and went all in. The year started off on a high with the success of B.A.M. in Brooklyn. XVI wanted to create more opportunities for the people in their community, that they slowly started to form. As we grew in our business, it made us more aware of our surroundings, the good & the bad; ready for anything that was in our way. Was it worth it?

Joe Gawd’s job asked him to move to Houston for a promotion. Without hesitation, he accepted the position. Despite the team hesitation, Houston was up next for Joe and Chevon. After being in Houston for serval months, Joe Gawd quit his job and went all in on XVI Management. A month later, Chevon left her job. Was this the right decision for Joe Gawd and Chevon?

1 of the 4 people that Joe Gawd wanted to bring on board was his fiancé, Chevon. Filled with excitement, XVI Management was formed in May 2017. XVI is the Roman numeral for sixteen and is a symbol of wholeness, introspection, intuitiveness, wisdom, independence & family. It was time to gain support, build connections & help their clients reach their highest potential.

Joe has been preparing himself for this moment from watching his dad's motorcycle club, the Black Falcons. Joseph was born in Mount Vernon, NY. He grew up in the Bronx and his love for Hip Hop & R&B began in ’97 from buying bootlegs mixtapes and making CD playlists called, Hot 97 Vol. Bankz. Joseph is not a rapper nor a singer; but his dream still is, to build an empire from his inspirations such as Roc-a-Fella, Cash Money, Bad Boys, Dipset & G-Unit. How bad does he want it? Will he make it?!
