About JOE GAWD
My name is Joseph DeShields but many people call me either Joe or Joe Gawd. I was born in Mount Vernon and raised in the Co-Op City. I grew up loving sports and music. I was involved with the Razorback football team and the Water Dragons in Mount Vernon and was the captain of the JV and Varsity level in high school. I would create playlists for myself for every game, every swim meet to get in a groove but also to put others in a groove. I graduated from Cardinal Hayes HS in 2010 and graduated from Howard University in 2015.
I am a talent manager, creative director, event planner, and marketing consultant who has operated in New York, Washington, D.C & Houston. An innovative, motivational, and selfless leader who is able to deliver exceptional results that engage the target audience and drive sales growth. Proactive and resourceful with a superb work ethic. My Latest Projects
LEGACY is happening right now as we speak. We only pray that the steps we take, the moves we make, the rooms we shake, and the hearts we touch will all be worthy of a LEGACY. We all want to leave a LEGACY, mine will be through influencing and inspiring the next generation, what will be your LEGACY?
We are all connected to each other whether it is by countries, states, neighborhoods, but the one we forget about is MUSIC. Gawdly Ties is filled with powerful & influential people whom all blend together through a spark, a connection, a relationship, a bond or memory that was formed through love & mutual respect. We are all tied together and that the Gawdly thing about it.
