Black & Beautiful
Event curated by XVI Media in November 2018 in NYC. A women centered pop-up shop in support of Black women owned businesses. Event included a full bar, motivational speeches from millennial creatives and entrepreneurs, and a song from an R&B artist to accompany a poem by a local poet. Photography by Ayanna Robinson.
B.A.M.: Black Artists Matter
Event curated by XVI Media in February 2018 in NYC. A Black History Month event highlighting Black creatives from a multitude of mediums. Event included talented painters, scupltors, multi-media artists, a pop-up shop for local Black clothing designers, and a playlist of indepedent Black musicians from around the country.
